Eid Gift Ideas for When You're Celebrating at Home

Lockdown Eid doesn’t have to be boring! Plus a cheeky Eid discount.

At the time of writing, 22 days of Ramadan have already passed. For those who are observing the month’s fast, without the associated rituals of family gatherings and the vibrant spirit of community; it can feel like the days have a little less sparkle than usual Ramadan’s.

So in the spirit of uplifting one another - while also supporting small businesses - here are some gift ideas you can get yourself, the loved one you’re missing, or for Eid celebrations of any kind! You may not have guests in person this year, but what’s a better time to treat yourself than a Quarantine Eid?

Botanical Cold Brew Elixirs

I previously wrote before about some great things to fill a gift hamper with (which you can read here) because gift hampers are a perfect way to create a personalised gifting experience.

For this hamper, the first option is from us: celebrate your Eid feasting by including Botanical Cold Brew tea in your homemade hamper using the discount code ‘EID25’. Everyone’s had that first day of Eid when you’re over-caffeinated by 11 am. So if you could do with something gentler on your system instead of the 3rd coffee/chai - cold brew tea is a great way to get flavour and gentle caffeine. The flavours are Pomegranate, Rose & Saffron and a mixed case of 6 means you get to try all 3 flavours.

Latin Honey Shop

For the honey connoisseur in your life - these award-winning honeys are raw organic single origin from across Latin America. Latin Honey is special because of the biodiversity of the region and what’s a gift hamper without something sweet & delicious to spread. In many cultures, a moment of celebration is marked by ‘sweetening the mouth’ - these honey’s are perfect!

Islamic Moments Stationery boutique

If you’re looking for a fun way to create an Eid atmosphere at home, check out this stationary boutique that offers carefully curated design led stationary including Eid greeting cards, bunting or these lovely laser cut hanging ornaments for the kids (or adults!) to hang around the home.

Maison Samadi

If it’s something fancy and elaborate you’re looking for, then this London based chocolatier has you covered. Handmade and family run, they have elaborate boxes of different sizes for Eid as well as celebration boxes for all occasions and they also make vegan chocolates! Although the larger options are on the pricier end - their collections are beautifully packaged and will be perfect for a long distance celebration.

Bad Brownie

A month of fasting calls for treating yourself and while you may be nostalgic for traditional Eid sweets, let’s just say no one is going to be upset with you for getting them a box of delicious, fudgy brownies delivered to their door. These folks make mixed boxes, gluten free or vegan options and they even have a subscription option for the gift that keeps on giving.

Eid Balloons

It’s a celebration, and celebrations call for balloons! This Eid foil balloon comes in two colours and will brighten up your festivities, especially if much of the celebrating is going to be on Zoom/Face-Time/What’s App.

And finally, if you’re going to go all the way and collect everything in one place -  you’ll need the hamper itself. You can find a variety of options and sizes at The Basket Company.

Wishing you all a Happy Eid, good health & happiness.
